Day 3 - Sat 12/28/24
We took the subway which was close to our hotel to Union Square.
We stopped at a shop called Flight School that had rare athletic shoes.
We then headed for Brunch at Lillie’s Victorian Union Square. We had reservations at 11:30am. This place is decked out in Christmas decorations! It was great. Food was just ok, but loved the decorations.
We then took the subway to Joe’s pizza as the kids didn’t really like the Brunch. Here we got stuck on the subway for a bit and I was worried we would be late for our show.
Joe’s pizza was yummy and they sell by the slice. It was tiny though and tough to find a seat.
We then decided to taxi as I was afraid of the subway getting stuck again. Of course the traffic was terrible though (which was why we were trying the subway before). The taxi dropped us off several blocks away as the traffic was at a standstill. We had to walk quickly, but made it in time.
We saw the matinee of & Juliet at 2pm. It was cute. There are lots of famous pop songs. Kids thought it was just ok.
There were tons of pedicabs waiting outside.
Son wanted to shop at the NBA Store, so we headed there. It was huge!
